Parish Administration

FINANCE COMMITTEE
- The Code of Canon Law and policy of the Diocese of Bridgeport require the pastor to establish a Finance Council, consisting of at least three parishioners, not including the Pastor, bookkeeper, or accountant. The Pastor is an ex-officio member of the Council. The Pastor selects persons who have appropriate experience to serve as capable financial advisors.

OFFICE FOLDERS, STUFFERS AND STAMPERS
- are called upon when there is a large mailing. They label, sort, copy, and prepare everything for the Post Office.

OFFICE RECEPTION TEAM
– help the office staff by answering phones, greeting people, and other tasks as needed.

PASTORAL ADVISORY COUNCIL
– is composed of the parish clergy, lay members of the parish corporation, a representative from each parish organization and society, nine elected adult members, and one elected youth member. The nine elected members serve three-year terms. The youth member serves a one-year term. Three adult members and the youth member are elected each year in June and become part of the Council at the June meeting when a Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, and Secretary are elected by the members. The Council meets the 3rd Monday of the month except in December, July, and August. Meetings are open to all parishioners.
