Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School ("VBS" for short) is a one week program in the summer for children from four years old through grade four. In 2008 there were over 120 children who attended the program during the week of July 14 to 18. The theme for the week was "God’s Big Backyard” with a focus on Service - to family, to community, to friends, to neighbors, and to Jesus.
Thanks to Chris Butler (914 -533-5234) Kelly DeFrancesco (667-4074), Holly Ruoff (972-6361), and Nancy Shullman (972-9351), there definitely will be VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL in the summer of 2009! Chris, Kelly, Holly and Nancy will be the co-leaders and are already at work planning things and looking for others to sign up to be helpers. The dates will be July 13--17, 2009, right here on the St. Aloysius campus. So, put the dates in your summer calendars now, and call one of them to say you are ready and willing to help out with VBS 2009 “SonRock Kids Camp”.
