Catholic Daughters

Court St Aloysius joined the State and National organization of Catholic Daughters of the Americas in 1922. A womans group whos motto is Unity and Charity.

Our fund raising includes our annual March Irish Soda Bread Sale. We contribute to 10 State and National charities. Locally, we support Trinity Missions, St. John Fisher House, Meals on Wheels and Waveny Care Center.

We host a baby shower for Norwalk Birth Right and a Christmas dinner and party for residents of STAR. We also give a scholarship to a student attending a Catholic High School and to one attending college.

We are active in parish activities helping the youth prepare meals for the New Covenant House Cafe and other activities as well as providing and serving deserts at parish events.

Irish Soda Bread Sale

Help us Help Others
Catholic Daughters is holding their
annual Irish Soda Bread and Bake Sale
after all Masses March 16th & 17th. All the proceeds benefit college scholarships (that are awarded to St Aloysius parishioners) and local charities. We are in need of bakers of
Irish soda bread and we are happy to provide our special recipe. Other baked goods, including cupcakes and cookies are welcomed donations as well. If you are interested in baking for this wonderful parish tradition, contact Sue Socci
(203-561-3461) or Jeanne Piscitello
