Guys and Girls - Friends and Faith Summer Groups 

begin Tuesday, June 22 and run for 5 weeks (no meeting July 4 week) -- watch for sign up later this week! A space where Catholics can walk alongside each other in community and experience opportunities to draw closer to God through scripture, discussion, and fun!

Our teen readers proclaim The Word at the 5:00 pm Teen Mass on Sundays and at our Before School Masses and other Feast Days. We will be training new teen readers in the fall. Reach out to Chris Otis at youth@starcc.com if you are interested in serving in this very important liturgical ministry!

Rising Juniors & Seniors

Is God calling YOU to be an Emerging Catholic Leader?

St. Aloysius Youth Ministry offers teen leader opportunities to help our teens grow in discipleship and begin to emerge as Catholic leaders. Teens journey with Youth Minister Chris Otis to lead outreach and prayer/worship opportunities.  They are supported as they help plan and execute events, recruit peers to participate, lead team meetings and prayer, as well as gain confidence to stand as disciples of Christ as witnesses to our Catholic faith in the world.  Support of a virtus trained parent is encouraged. Attendance at Fall Teen Leader training with clergy and ongoing support of youth ministry opportunities other than their assigned ministry is required.  Participation in Summer Mission Trip or Steubenville Youth Conference is encouraged.

Teens ... A little spiritual advice
Romans 12:1-2 calls us to daily transformation of our minds so we can know and live out God’s will for us. "I urge you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, your spiritual worship. Do not conform yourselves to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect."

Perhaps you will ask for God's help to:
Come to Mass EVERY Sunday

• Attend 5pm Teen Mass with contemporary praise & worship band music and a "student section"
• Participate in monetary stewardship. Every Sunday bring cash to put into the basket ... give up something for the week and give what you would have spent on it to GOD!

Consider attending Daily Mass once-a-week or even just once-a-month

Read the Bible -- It's God's Word - Join us for Teen Bible Study

- Spend more time with God's Word and how it applies to your life as a teen in 2022! Watch for our new dates for Guy's Holy Hoops & Girl's Bible Study.

Pray Daily - Just talk to God or try a Catholic Prayer App like Hallow at https://hallow.com/ or in the app store!

Work on Overcoming What Tempts You - Develop habits that lead you closer to Christ
